Nevertheless, we analyzed 545,545living rooms based on subjective color assessments.

Βased on the wall color of 220,359 living rooms, we discovered that the 3 most popular living room wall colors are white, beige and gray.

Floor color is the weakest room color indicator, but it does make an impact. Αs you will see, the most popular floor color brown, which is expected given the color of hardwood floors. Yet for many such living rooms that have white or gray walls with wood flooring, you wouldn’t necessarily describe it as a brown living room.

Nevertheless, given the impact floor color makes, we include the analysis which is based on 10,040 living room floor colors.

I think during the early stages of design, it can be helpful to get an idea of what’s being done generally. For example, gray is fairly popular, yet you may not have considered gray for your walls or overall color scheme because you think it is too blah or neutral. Yet, when integrated with other colors, gray can be a magnificent dominant living room color.

1. Olive, white and wood living room Color Scheme
